Honeywood’s own Chef Josh is participating in the James Beard Foundation Blended Burger project and you can try his entry at Honeywood! The project is a contest to create a “better burger” made by combining ground meat and mushrooms, thus adding flavor and cutting calories to create a more sustainable burger.
Chef Josh has created The Jive Turkey for this years entry – a local ground turkey mixed with cremini mushrooms and served with red onion marmalade, cucumber yogurt sauce, and shredded iceberg lettuce all atop a brioche bun with hand-cut French fries.
