Inspired by tiles used in the washrooms and baths in the countryside of Italy and Greece, the jute mat was born. We wanted to create a bath or kitchen mat unique to your home and not like one you would find in a mass retailer. The tile patterns are inspired by Sicily (Italy) and Mykonos (Greece), respectively. This stylish and eco-friendly kitchen mat is handwoven in a town in India where the production of textiles is thriving. Each piece is crafted one by one on traditional handlooms. While the density may vary due to its handcrafted nature, that just adds to its laid-back vibe and one-of-a-kind appeal—perfect for elevating your bathroom space.
  • Repurposed Jute (Cotton, others), Recycled Fiber
  • Spot clean, do not wash or dry clean
  • Puebco was founded by Tokyo-based designer Hirotaka Tanaka in 2007 by the simple notion of creating things instinctively, using found and recycled materials to curate renewed lifestyle items. Their goal is to create a range of products made from recycled materials, as well as unique objects that have been found and in some instances repurposed.
