In the wake of COVID-19, many businesses have been forced to pivot quickly to adapt to customers’ changing needs. As a Texas founded, Texas based brand, Kendra Scott has succeeded in developing innovative philanthropic and retail efforts to support its Texas community during this time. The brand is committed to understanding and adapting to what the new normal of retail will look like in our state, and joining forces with civic leaders to strategize on how we can get business back up and running. The newest initiative the brand has fast tracked demonstrates Kendra Scott’s commitment to its customers and community: Curbside Delivery, launching 4 days ahead of Mother’s Day!

Kendra Scott’s purpose is to thoughtfully and joyfully connect through beautiful jewelry that gives back to the causes and people its customers care most about. The brand was built on experience, and now more than ever believes it is important to keep that genuine connection to its customer. As a retail business, Kendra Scott does not deliver a product their customer needs, but a product she wants and that brings her joy. With this new curbside initiative, customers can enjoy a new and easy-to-access way to reach the brand, particularly in the weeks leading up to Mother’s Day.

Process:

⋅ First, visit kendrascott.com to explore our latest collections. Within each product page, customers can click “Find In Store” to see if their local store has their chosen style in stock.

⋅ Call your local store with the requested styles

⋅ The Kendra Scott will process payment over the phone, and get everything packaged and ready for pickup.

⋅ Pickup hours run from 10am-7pm every day.

⋅ Customers will be provided with a number to text upon their arrival to the store. A KS team member will reply and coordinate the best method of contactless delivery, including options to put the gifts directly into the customer’s trunk.

⋅ The customer will never have to leave his/her car or contact a Kendra Scott employee, and can safely drive off with their Kendra Scott yellow box in minutes!

Customer Experience:

⋅ The Kendra Scott team is planning some exciting “surprise & delight” moments

⋅ 20% of proceeds from now until 5/10 of all curbside purchases will be donated to local Hospital’s in the community to support COVID-19 Relief Funds.

Health & Safety Measures:

⋅ For curbside delivery, all Kendra Scott retail staff will be wearing gloves and masks. All Kendra Scott employees are given routine health screenings prior to each shift, including temperature checks, in accordance with CDC regulations.

⋅ Kendra Scott’s stores and DCs are following CDC/WHO guidelines with stepped up cleaning measures and close of shift cleaning checklist.

⋅ Supplied additional cleaning product including wipes, gloves, sanitizer and trained teams on wipe down protocol when finishing use of hardware and workspace.

⋅ The company urges all employees to continue to follow all health and prevention habits that we have provided and as guided by the CDC.

⋅ Employees adhere to social distancing guidelines as recommended by the CDC at all times.

⋅ Employees have been provided with an extensive health and safety manual that outlines these enhanced procedures.
