The Summit at Fritz Farm welcomes all members of your family, even the four-legged ones.

 

Dog owners bringing their dog to visit The Summit must follow these rules to make shopping a safe and enjoyable environment for all to enjoy:

 

• Dogs must be leashed or inside a carrier at all times.
• Dog handlers must be 18 years of age or older.
• Dog handlers are responsible for the proper supervision and behavior of their dogs.
• Dogs must not be left unattended or in a minor’s care.
• Retractable leashes and leashes longer than six feet are not permitted. If you need an approved leash, contact our security team at 859-537-0826.
• No food, treats, or chew toys are allowed at any time.
• Dog handlers are responsible for cleaning up after the dogs in their care.
• Aggressive dogs shall be removed from The Summit by their owners/handlers at the first sign of aggression.
• Dogs are not permitted in water displays, fountains, or retention pond.
• Dogs must not be left alone in a vehicle for any reason.
• Female dogs in heat and dogs under the age of four (4) months are not allowed.
• Visitors should not pet other animals unless permission by the owner/handler has been granted.
• Dog handlers are limited to a maximum of two (2) dogs while on the property.
• Dogs must be properly licensed in the jurisdictional area where they reside, have a current vaccination for rabies, and wear visible dog license and tags.
• Dog handlers are required to comply with the laws, rules and regulations of the state of Kentucky and the city of Lexington relating to dogs.
• Dog owners and handlers are responsible for any injuries or damage caused by the dog(s) under their control.
• The Summit reserves the right to ask a pet owner to remove their pet from the premises at any time.

 

If at any time, management of The Summit determines that the behavior of a dog is causing disturbance to others, or the dog is acting aggressively, the owner will be asked to remove his or her dog from the premises.

 

Neither The Summit nor Centennial Real Estate shall be liable for any injury or damage caused by any dog on property. To the maximum extent permitted by law, all dog owners hereby agree to indemnify save harmless and release The Summit and Centennial from and against any and all liabilities in connection with loss of life, bodily injury, personal injury, theft and/or property damage arising out of their dogs being on property.
