A brand-new Trail Adapt System integrates Brooks’ cushioned DNA LOFT v2 foam with a middle-loaded ballistic rock shield and zonal outsole pods, so the shoe can adapt to uneven terrain and keep you in control. You get a ton of grip with Brooks’ new TrailTack® Rubber that’s inspired by the anatomy of mountain goat hooves. Designers created a split outsole in the forefoot to give you enhanced traction while those zonal pods give you better control. Plus, it is made with 25% recycled materials. Two layers of DNA Loft v2 cushioning surround the Ballistic Rock Shield to give you protection from roots and rocks without limiting flexibility.
